DOWNLOADING IBM STERLING B2B INTEGRATOR

Go to Fix Central to download Sterling B2B Integrator v6.1.2.1.

DISK SPACE AND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
This release of Sterling B2B Integrator has a complete Media of size ~5GB, which includes Sterling B2B Integrator V6.1.2.1/Global Mailbox V6.1.2.1 Additional installation space requirements include:

  • Minimum requirement for memory spaces (RAM) 8 GB
  • Minimum requirement for disk space 35 GB (~30 GB for installation and ~5GB for repository)

INSTALLING AND UPGRADING IBM STERLING B2B INTEGRATOR

Java Development Kit (JDK) version is now upgraded to IBM JDK 8.0.7.15. This version should be used to install or upgrade to Sterling B2B Integrator v6.1.2.1. To download IBM JDK 8.0.7.15 for v6.1.2.1, refer to the following links:

Note: When upgrading from Sterling B2B Integrator v5.2.6.3_x (or lower) to v6.1.2.1:
  1. Stop the Sterling B2B Integrator v5.2.6.3_x (or lower) instance.
  2. Run the command: upgradeJDK.sh <path to IBM JDK 8.0.6.20> <path to JCE policy File>.
  3. Using the IBM Installation manager (IIM), upgrade Sterling B2B Integrator to v6.1.2.1 by using the GUI mode or by using a response file while pointing to IBM JDK 8.0.7.15.

Refer to Sterling B2B Integrator System Requirements before installing or upgrading to ensure that your database and operating system versions are still supported, and update them as necessary.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
Sterling B2B Integrator V6.1.2.1 has the following important consideration:

Native PGP: You can refer to the Migration of Trading Partners to Native PGP article for details, if you are planning to migrate from the existing PGP solution and upgrade keys from 8 bit to 16 bit.
