APAR status

Error description

  • UNIX file filter does not return expected results for archives.
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    Create a USS file name filter for *.tar.gz files in the Remote
    Systems view and checked the "Show Files Only" checkbox for the
    filter.
    

Local fix

  • Uncheck the "Show Files Only" checkbox for the filter.
    

Problem summary

  • Certain special characters can cause TSO commands from RSEAPI to
     fail
    

Problem conclusion

  • When executing a TSO command, special characters such as #$ need
     to be escaped properly
