APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading IBM Spectrum Protect Plus to version 10.1.12
  from versions 10.1.10 or 10.1.11 the Administrator's console
  "Updates and hotfix management" section displays version 10.1.10
  as an available update.
  This behavior is seen as the /etc/yum/vars/spp_version contains
  the wrong version.
  The Administrator's console "Product Information" page displays
  the correct version.
  
  Affected versions: IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.12
  

Local fix

• On the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus host edit the file
  /etc/yum/vars/spp_version to reflect the correct version.

Problem conclusion

• The list of available software updates in the IBM Spectrum
  Protect Plus Administrative Console has been updated to reflect
  the correct available software updates. For example, if the
  product version is 10.1.13, the available software updates list
  will now show 10.1.13, rather than previous versions.
