OA63948: HOST ACCESS TOOKIT APPLICATION HANGS ON EXIT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The simplest possible HACL Java application will connect to a
  3270 host, disconnect and clean up (or so it says).
  
  However, the Java application will not terminate (without a
  Ctrl-C) because HOD is leaving a thread (or something similar)
  
  running. There is a need to find out how to complete the
  clean-up of HOD resources, so that the Java application will
  terminate.

  It is expected that all background thread will be terminated
  when StopCommunication is called and thereafter dispose() method
  but HACL toolkit does not successfully exits, and it hangs.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made to resolve the issue.
