Why do I no longer have a Preview tab in the designer to test my Birt reports for use with Maximo?
Answer
Eclipse removed the Preview tab starting with Eclipse 4.4.
You can use the Run -> View Report -> In Web viewer menu tree to open a new browser tab and view a preview the report.
You can also use the toolbar icon "View Report" and select View Report in Web Viewer.
You can configure the View report options in Window > Preferences > Report Design > Preview
We recommend using you standard web browser. Go to Window > Preferences > General > Web Browsers and enable use external web browser and click on the Apply button.
