In some cases, the OLDS_ENTRY is not set correctly by CDP which will cause pointing to an invalid address and then abend 0C4. - SDE abend with message CSV002I. The IMS collector needs to be reworked with updated usage of DBRC API to avoid CSV002I and abend. - HBO0386I reported with 'Return Code: 0000000C' and 'Reason Code: C9000003' During IMS reorg process, sometimes the RECON1 used by DBRC API request will become invalid. This is due to the requirement of the DBRC API, and it will prevent the DBRC API from completing as expected. This causes SDE to report HBO0386I with return code and reason code above. SDE is updated to check the RECON status and updated the RECON1 used by DBRC API before issuing it to prevent this issue. - SDE will pause the IMS reorg process for more than 10 minutes. During reorg process, SDE will not notify if the RECON dataset which is being used needs to be switched until next discovery which will pause the IMS reorg process. - High CPU of HBOIMS. There is a potential looping in dispatch process of I/O program when collecting IMS log which will cause high CPU usage.
Problem conclusion
CDP v2.1 is updated to rework the IMS collector with these issues fixed.
