Steps

Checklist for teams and administrators

  1. Verify that system requirements are met.

  2. Verify enough space:

    1.9 4.6.X, 4.7.X, or 4.8.X 3.5 TB
Note: vertical and horizontal scaling, depending on deployment type, can be accomplished.

  3. Verify VMotion isn't being used.

  4. Check status of nodes to verify all are working:
    oc get nodes
    ocdescribe nodes
  5. Check that statuses of pods are in running state and deployment health:
    cpctl diagnostics check_deployment
    Note: tool cpctl requires installation.

  6. Double check configured certificates and make sure they are configured correctly. Does the hostname on the cert truly corresponds with the hardware and site the cert is for.
  7. Validate backups exist externally.

  8. Verify that UI is accessible.
