Error description

  • After installing IBM Transformation Extender(ITX) plugin for IBM
    App Connect Enterprise Toolkit, the Integration Development
    perspective fails to open. The workspace log shows following
    error
    
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at com.ibm.etools.mft.perspectives.BrokerDevelopmentPerspective
    $1.run(BrokerDevelopmentPerspective.java:122)

Problem conclusion

  • The Toolkit no longer fails to open its integration development
    perspective when ITX plugin is installed.
