APAR status

Error description

  • ENABLESTATUS(DISABLED) isn't recognized by our compiler and we
    get "Parsing Error" in step by step log and Warning [999] :
    Syntax error: 'DISABLED' in compilation log

Problem summary

  • The AD COBOL compiler shows Warning [999] : Syntax error:
    'DISABLED' when dealing with a particular CICS statement
    ENABLESTATUS(DISABLED). In this situation, "DISABLED" was
    treated as a reserved COBOL keyword.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed by treating "DISABLED" as a CICS token and not as a COBOL
    reserved keyword, for this particular situation.
