SNMP Trap Host and Port not getting updated in Sterling Control Center

Problem

SNMP Trap Host and Port not getting updated in Sterling Control Center as we need to send traps to service now. Tried restarting the ICC server but this did not solve the issue.

Symptom

The user make changes to the configuration, but when attempting to save the changes with the 'update' button, the following error is seen:
CCTR176E: Unable to update SNMP Host service system setting in database

Cause

The user attempting to perform the configuration change does not have the administrative rights to perform this task.

Resolving The Problem

Sign in to the Web Console as an administrative user and perform the configuration change as this user.
