APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • While trying to go to Job Plans from Condition Monitoring but
    instead of going to the main tab and get the Job Plan
    information, it shows us the application with no records on the
    list tab.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1)	Go to Job Plans application.
    2)	Create a new Job Plan with the name JPNOTREVISED.
    3)	Save and change status to ACTIVE.
    4)	Create a second Job Plan with the name JPREVISED.
    5)	Save and change status to ACTIVE.
    6)	Create a new revision.
    7)	Change the status to ACTIVE.
    8)	Now go to Condition Monitoring and create a new one.
    9)	In the Upper Limit Job Plan select the JPNOTREVISED job plan.
    
    10)	Click on the menu in the field and select Go To Job Plans.
    11)	Job Plans application showed up in the main tab with
    JPNOTREVISED data on it.
    12)	Now return to the previous application and change the Upper
    Limit Job Plan to JPREVISED.
    13)	Try again to Go To Job Plans.
    
    RESULT:
    
    Job Plans application appears in the list tab with no data on
    it.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    
    The expected behaviour should be same that we have with the job
    plan JPNOTREVISED i.e the Job Plan JPREVISED should be opened in
    the main tab with data.

    Whenever user uses a "GO TO JOBPLAN" option for a revised
    jobplan, it redirected to the list view of jobplan and not to
    the revised jobplan record due to missing check so added a
    condition in where statement (where status = Active) if there
    are more than 1 Jobplan with same Jpnum, to get the latest
    revised jobplan.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for this APAR will be included in a future release.
