Current Guardium images in AWS EC2 are using IMDSv1. Is there any issue with upgrading to IMDSv2?
Answer
There is no issue on currently running systems that are upgraded to use v2 tokens.
AWS Instance Metadata Service Version 2 (IMDSv2) was added to aggregator and collector AMIs, version 11.1 and higher, in March 2021.
