APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The cause of this abend is a bug in module IAYQUERY.  The call
to the XCF facility in IAYQUERY has not been properly coded.
The ANSLEN parameter needs to be corrected, it is invalid.

IXCQUERY REQINFO=SYSPLEX,ANSAREA=INFOAREA,ANSLEN=L'INFOAREA

The call will work some of the time (or most of the time, since
AD began) if the number stored at address INFOAREA happens to be
within a specific range.

Problem summary

  • IBM AD Build Client runs out of memory and shows a message box
stating 'Error While saving the project : Integrity violation !'
when trying to save a big project.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed by extending the memory address for the IBM AD Build
Client process.
