Error description
Storage Insights does not display the cause for a DS8K device to not get added to Storage Insights; it simply displays task expired. The data collector logs capture the cause of the failure, but this messaging is not relayed back to Storage Insights, and thus the Storage Insights user has no obvious indication of where to look or how to fix the problem. Change initial password for the DS8K HMC user id, and proceed with adding the device to Storage Insights again.
