Error description
Editing ILE RPG source using the Remote Systems LPEX Editor in Rational Developer for i (RDI) 9.6.0.7 a named constant declaration statement can be annotated in the left margin of the view with an information message â The constant <name> is not usedâ . A named constant which is referenced in the program because it matches a field name in an externally described record format which the program may output to should not be annotated as being unused.
