RS03949: THE BUSINESS CONSOLE MAY DETECT CHANGES IN DYNAMIC DOMAINS AND BE UNABLE TO APPLY THEM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Under some circumstances, the Business Console may detect some
  changes in dynamic domains, and be unable to apply those
  changes: after applying those changes, the Business Console
  still detects the same differences.
  
  This can happen when:
  1) the BOM contains a 'translation' property for one domain
  entry eg:
     public static final readonly DomainEntry1
                 property translation "\"domain_entry_1\"";
  
  2) and the custom value provider used for that dynamic domain
  returns a null value for that property:
    public String getTranslation(String key) { return null; }
  

Local fix

• After removing the 'translation' property from the domain
  entries in the BOM, the Business Console does not detect any
  differences any more
