Troubleshooting
Problem
Index failed document shows uploading status instead of index-failed.
Cause
Crawler pod does not have CHECK_STATUS_EXPIRE_MIN environment variable created by default.
Resolving The Problem
Set a CHECK_STATUS_EXPIRE_MIN environment value which identify a threshold when a document ingesting takes longer than the threshold, Assist will mark the document index-failed instead of keeping waiting for the ingestion completed.
Login OCP cluster, go to assist project -> deployments, stop ibm-mas-assist-operator. Go to {{instanceId}}-ema-crawler, add a CHECK_STATUS_EXPIRE_MIN environment variable and set the value to the time you want. E,g 30 means 30 mins. If you need more time, you can give larger value.
