  • With the Sample Interval set to 1 minute for the Hitachi array
    and Storage Insights performance monitoring data collection at
    every 60 minutes, data collection keeps failing with ?Out of
    range? error.
    
    No performance data is collected while this is
    occurring.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for this APAR is targeted for the following release:
    
    IBM Storage Insights 3Q22   [ 54X-IBM-SI ]
    ( release target 3Q 2022 - July/August )
    
    The target dates for future releases do not represent a formal
    commitment by IBM. The dates are subject to change without
    notice.
    
    Note: The 3Q22 data collector package (Build 20220824-0648) did
    not include the correct hitachi_vsp.exe version.  See APAR
    IT41800 for a fix to hitachi_vsp.exe that includes a fix for
    this APAR.  The hitachi_vsp should be v1.5.176.98 or later.
