Summary

IBM Engineering Requirements Quality Assistant On-Premises affected by multiple vulnerabilites including OpenSSL, cross-site scripting, cross-site request forgery (CVE-2022-0778, CVE-2021-38868, CVE-2021-29799, CVE-2021-29790, CVE-2021-29788) which allowed an attacker or an unauthenticated user to execute malicious and unauthorized actions to obtain sensitive information. The fix also includes updated Node version 12.22.12.

DESCRIPTION:   OpenSSL is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a flaw in the BN_mod_sqrt() function when parsing certificates. By using a specially-crafted certificate with invalid explicit curve parameters, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause an infinite loop, and results in a denial of service condition.
