What is the minimal server bundle configuration for Manage application in IBM Maximo Application Suite?
Answer
The default server bundle must have a bundle type of either all or ui. If you do not specify one of these types for the default, the deployment might appear successful, but the application will not function properly. If your default server bundle is a ui bundle, you must also have a server bundle of type mea because the mea server bundle is required for user synchronization.
Previous Manage documents ( for versions 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3) are unclear about this aspect. The same information will be included in the documentation updates for Manage 8.4.
