JR64988: THE NEW CERTIFICATE DOESN'T CAME SAVED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Current the self-signed certificate my server is using has
  expired. After generating a new certificate login to the server
  console and set the new certificate under Configuration ->
  Service Parameters -> General Parameters -> Web Client and API
  certificate and Save, the console cannot obtain the connection
  to the server machine and the services WDG API and WDG WEB on
  the server remain stopped. When I restart them manually, the
  console connects to the server machine but has the old
  certificate saved.

  * When updating "Web client and API Certificate" in            *
  * Configuration > Service Parameters > General a general error *
  * was being returned in the Control Center and the new         *
  * certificate was not applied. It was identified that when     *
  * updating an already expired certificate, the new one wasn't  *
  * being saved.                                                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Change the Server date within the validity of the expired    *
  * certificate to be able to update.                            *

• A fix was delivered on 21.0.3
