Error description

  • CDP v2.1 2022 June maintenance for defects fixed:
    - Support CICS TS 6.1 CMF data collection.
    - Set maximum size of a logical message in SDE.
    - 0C4 abend when collecting SMF_70 record.
    - The enablement of SMF_104 data stream in policy causes SDE to
    stop.

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF.                              *

    - Support CICS TS 6.1 CMF (CICS Monitoring Facility) data
    collection.
    The fields of CICS TS 6.1 CMF data need to be defined in the
    SMF_110 record definition.
    - Set maximum size of a logical message in SDE.
    The large logical message of SDE may be unaccepted by some
    subscribers, so CDP has provided a new parameter.
    - 0C4 abend when collecting SMF_70 record.
    The buffer is not correctly calculated during SMF_70 data copy
    process which may cause 0C4 abend.
    - The enablement of SMF_104 data stream in policy causes SDE to
    stop.
    The definition of SMF_104 is not correct, because it does not
    map the raw data correctly and this caused SDE to stop.
    

Problem conclusion

  • CDP v2.1 is updated to fix this problem.
