Abstract

This document provides information about downloading and installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.7.3-IBM-MAS-FP0001 fix. This image includes the installer for the MAS 8.7.3 maintenance release.

Issues addressed in this fix

  • Security updates
  • Fix entitlement issue for Data Dictionary images 
  • A User Registry Synchronization configuration is added to the admin dashboard. This allows for correctly setting the initial form values for all fields. Form validation now prevents unresponsiveness when clicking the “Save” button without interacting with the required fields.
  • WLP updated to v22.0.0.4. It fixes the user filter bug when synchronizing users from LDAP to MAS.
  • Added default Relay State parameter for SAML authentication. Defaults to MAS Home page.
 

Steps for installing 8.7.3

Installing a Maximo Application Suite fix is done in the same way that the original product was installed. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions. For this fix, however, you run the install script that was downloaded as part of the fix instead of the install.sh that came with the original product image.
