  • Problem
    
    When a new attribute is added as a date type, and then added to
    a classification (and the classification added to a record), you
    
    are not able to modify the attribute in Move/Modify/Swap Action
    in Work Order Tracking
    
    
    
    Steps To Reproduce
    
    Go to the Classification application
    More Actions > Add/Modify Properties > Attributes
    Add new attribute =TEST
    Populate description
    
    Populate Data Type= Date
    Click OK
    Filter for the PUMP \ CNTRFGL
    Make sure Use With is set for both Asset and WORKORDER
    Save the record
    
    Go To Work order tracking application
    Create a new work order
    
    Populate the Asset field = 11430
    Click on Specifications Tab
    Filter for TEST attribute
    Populate a date in the Alphanumeric Value field example =
    05/27/2022
    Save the Record
    More Actions > Move/Modify/Swap
    Click Modify tab
    In the Asset Specifications filter for TEST attribute and select
    it
    Click Modify Attribute button
    Enter a new date under Planned Modifications
    
    Results
    system message "BMXAA0209E - TEST is a numeric attribute.
    
    Expected Results
    If Maximo allows to enter a date in a ALN attribute you should
    not receive the error
