APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    When using Select Owner action from Graphical Scheduling, both
    the Owner and Owner Group are populated against the given Work
    Order Record. This is inconsistent behavior from when the Select
    Owner action is used on the work order level as typically, the
    Owner and Owner Group fields are mutually exclusive (when one is
    populated, the other is null).
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Graphical Scheduling
    ---
    1. Select a schedule with multiple work orders
    2. Click on the Graphical View Tab
    3. Right-click on any work order and click on Select Owner
    4. Select any person (not person group) who HAS a person group.
    NOTE: Both the Owner AND the Owner Group are listed.
    6. Navigate to Work Order tracking and open the work order. (can
    right-click on it from GS and click "Go To Work Order Tracking")
    
    7. Navigate to the Responsibility Sub-Tab
    NOTE: Both the Owner AND the Owner Group are listed.

    8. Open a different work order in your schedule FROM Work Order
    Tracking. (can right-click on it from GS and click "Go To Work
    Order Tracking")
    9. Click "Select Owner" from the More Actions menu
    4. Select any person (not person group) who HAS a person group.
    NOTE: Only the Owner is listed.
    
    RESULTS:
    When an owner who has an owner group is applied GS - both are
    applied.
    When an owner who has an owner group is applied in Work Order
    Tracking - only the owner is applied.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    Results from GS should be consistent with Work Order Tracking.
