Troubleshooting
Problem
We upgraded from 6.02.00.00_iFix15 to 6.2.1 ifix07 I am getting error (see below) in the engine logs.
Symptom
WARN RecoverableDAO - SQLException occurred in RecoverableDAO.executeUpdate() Error Code = 311 and SQL State = S0001
Cannot use text, ntext, or image columns in the 'inserted' and 'deleted' tables. Stack Trace: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Cannot use text, ntext, or image columns in the 'inserted' and 'deleted' tables.
Cause
Custom triggers in the database against the EVENTS table
Environment
MSSQL
Diagnosing The Problem
Look at the Engine logs for com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Cannot use text, ntext, or image columns in the 'inserted' and 'deleted' tables.
Resolving The Problem
Custom triggers in the customers database had to be corrected. Not a Control Center issue.
