APAR status

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
If "Sort By On"(QUERYTEMPLATEATTR.SORTBYON) is unchecked, both
"Orderby Order" (QUERYTEMPLATEATTR.SORTBYORDER) and "Ascending"
(QUERYTEMPLATEATTR.ASCENDING) attributes should be read-only on
Query Template option in Object Structure application.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
The steps below use MAXDEMO as an example.

1)Go to Object Structure application and fetch by MXASSET.

Click on Query Template.

Create a new row for Query template and then a new row for Query
Attributes.

RESULTS:
The fields Orderby Order and Ascending are available, even if
Sort By On is not checked.

EXPECTED RESULTS
The fields Orderby Order and Ascending should be readonly if
Sort By On is not checked.

Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for this APAR will be included in a future release.
Fixed, when "Sort By On" is unchecked, both "OrderBy Order" and
"Ascending" become read-only and are initialized.
