TCP SACK support allows the TCP stack to handle lost packets and selectively acknowledge the data segments that have been received so that the missing data segments can be retransmitted more quickly by the sender. This can help improve overall TCP throughput for applications dependent on a high volume of TCP data being transferred when there is packet loss in the network.
SACK is enabled by default for the TCP network layer.
