Error description

When using z/OS Connect's WOLA service and if a value is
assigned to the linkTaskChanID configuration attribute under the
localAdaptersConnectService element causes incorrect data to be
processed and requests fail.

Avoid using the LinkTaskChanID property for containers until
this apar is shipped.

When using z/OS Connect's WOLA service and if a value is
assigned to the linkTaskChanID configuration attribute under the
localAdaptersConnectService element causes incorrect data to be
processed. For example, when processing a request with the
following configuration:

<localAdaptersConnectService id="wolaBanking"
   ...
   linkTaskReqContID="inputData"
   linkTaskChanID="BankChannel"
/>

The container name: inputData, maybe replaced replaced with
invalid data (CONTAINER ('xyz  '))

Problem conclusion

Code was added to correctly process a request when the
linkTaskChanID attribute is configured.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
delivery information:

Temporary fix

Do not specify a channel name using the linkTaskChanID
configuration attribute. The channel name, if not specified, is
IBM-WAS-ADAPTER
