Troubleshooting
Problem
A connection to SingleStore is defined to use version 3.0.3 or 3.0.4 of the MariaDB Connector/J driver.
When the JDBC driver is asked to return metadata via the DatabaseMetadata interface, incorrect results are returned.
Version 3.0.3 does not return table metadata from the DatabaseMetadata.getTables method.
Version 3.0.4 does not return column metadata from the DatabaseMetadata.getColumns method.
Version 3.0.3 does not return table metadata from the DatabaseMetadata.getTables method.
Version 3.0.4 does not return column metadata from the DatabaseMetadata.getColumns method.
Symptom
The <cognos>\drivers folder includes version 3.0.3 or 3.0.4 of the MariaDB Connector/J driver.
Cause
Resolving The Problem
Use an earlier version of the MariaDB Connector/J such as 2.7.3.
