IT40640: DATAPOWER SQL-EXEC FAILED TO RETRIEVE STORED PROCEDURE RESPONSE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the response  has a data field with CLOB data type : The
  store procedure returns a ref_cursor containing multiple rows,
  but the datapower sql-exec response looks like as if there is no
  record found.
  
  The ODBC driver fails to get the server data when both CLOB and
  '' are included at the same time.
  A quick workaround is to use the keyword "NULL" instead of the
  ''

Problem summary

• When using the stored procedure to return the SYS_REFCURSOR
  including both CLOB and empty char at the same time, Datapower
  SQL-EXEC fails to retrieve the response of stored procedure.
