APAR status

Error description

  • Unable to start collections for DS8K device.
    
    Storage Insights receives the following response from the DS8K
    ESSNI service, as shown in the data collector's logs:

    Given that the data collector is receiving the ESSNI server's
    clear response that the account has an expired password, this
    status should be reflected in the Storage Insights GUI so that a
    user can know how to fix the cause of these failures. At the
    present time a user has to open a support case in order to
    understand the cause and how to fix it.
