Wrong calendar -- Current day configured as a free day by mistake and current plan is empty

Question & Answer

Question

A wrong "FREE DAY" is defined in the TWSZ calendar and the CURRENT PLAN is empty for the current day. What is the best option to recover and resume correct scheduling?

Cause

Scenario: Current production plan is empty because the current day was configured as a free day by mistake in the calendars.
The current plan date is 22/04/18 12.59. We need to replan the period 22/04/15 12:59 - 22/04/17 12:59.
CP date is 18 Apr at 12.59 - This is the CP end date.

Answer

These steps are suggested:
----------------------------------
Adding to LTP or changing LTP occurrences in the range of the existing CP is not allowed.
So the missing occurrences cannot be added to the CP via planning activity.
The only way to add the missing occurrences is dynamically adding them to the CP.
They can be added manually via 5.1 or via PIF. This is done with the submission inactive,
just for the time to add the occurrences and to check dependencies.
Once they are added and checked, the submission can be reactivated.
To be sure of the correct scheduling (the right choice of the IA time)
run a GENDAYS with the correct calendar against the involved AD records.
