IT40470: THE 'DESTINATION VM' CANNOT BE SELECTED CORRECTLY FROM DROP-DOWN LIST ON RESTORE OF MULTIPLE VMWARE HARD DISKS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During the setup of a restore of multiple VMware hard drives
  using the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus GUI, the 'Destination VM'
  listed at the drop-down list in the 'Destination Virtual Disk'
  table for the second and subsequent hard disk(s) can be hidden
  and therefore, cannot be selected correctly.
  
  Example:
  On IBM Spectrum Protect Plus GUI -> Jobs and Operations ->
  Create job -> Restore -> Set Destination -> in the
  'Destination Virtual Disk' table - there are three disks listed
  at the 'Source Virtual Disks':
   - Hard disk 1
   - Hard disk 2
   - Hard disk 3
  For 'Hard disk 1' the 'Destination VM' can be correctly selected
  - but for 'Hard disk 2' and 'Hard disk 3' none VM can be
  selected from the drop-down list because the rows are
  overlapping by the previous rows.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus restore wizard for VMware has been
  fixed.   The destination step's Destination Virtual Disk table's
  dropdowns should now render correctly to allow user selection.
