Maximo Mobile versioning and interim fix level on Maximo Application Suite

Question

On a Maximo Application Suite environment, how does one know the Maximo Mobile version and interim fix level?

Answer

In Maximo Application Suite, the Maximo Mobile code is included in Manage.
The Maximo Application Suite version is also the Mobile version, while the last digit from the Manage version indicates the Mobile interim fix version (patch, as it is now called in Maximo Application Suite).
For example, Maximo Application Suite 8.6.1 with Manage 8.2.2 environment.
We can now see that the Mobile version is 8.6, while the interim fix level is interim fix 002.
When it comes to install interim fixes (patches) for Mobile, the Maximo Mobile interim fixes are included in the Manage patches.  There is no need to install a separate Mobile interim fix, as would be the case on a Maximo EAM environment.
