Abstract
This white paper provides a case study example of decommissioning an IBM Content Manager V8.7 resource manager on z/OS by moving its contents and metadata to another resource manager on another platform under the same library server.
The topics which are covered in this white paper include the following:
● References to an online publication detailing how to replicate existing objects from the resource manager on z/OS to be decommissioned to another resource manager.
● Steps performed in order to manually switch the references in the library server database from the old resource manager on z/OS to the new one.
