Error description

  • SUMMARY:
    User would like to hide the "show hidden entries" under settings
    in the personal menu under profile & setting but they can not in
    11.2.0
    
    ENVIRONMENT:
    - This issue was tested in 11.2.0 environment in any browser
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS :
    - upon disabling this feature in manage > people > accounts >
    namespace > properties > the "show hidden entries" option in
    profile & settings under the Personal menu shouldn't be
    displayed for the user.
    
    ACTUAL RESULTS:
    - the feature still shows after the above steps
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    -Login as a cognos user
    - Under Profile & Settings, select settings
    - Under the content settings we can see the "show hidden entry"
    feature is visible
    - Logout
    - Login as an administrator
    - Navigate to manage > people > accounts > choose the cognos
    user in the above step from your namespace > properties
    - In the properties view, choose personal and unselect "Show
    Hidden Entries"
    - Logout
    -Log back in as cognos user
    - Under Profile & Settings, select settings
    - Under the content settings we can see the "show hidden entry"
    feature is still visible
