Error description

  • Problem Description:

When changing a default insert site in a work center or the main
Maximo app the change doesn't appear to apply to the work center
    until a logout/login is performed.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    1. Log into core Maximo as Wilson
    User: Wilson
    Default Insert Stie: BEDFORD
Use Default Insert Site as a Display Filter?: checked

    2. Go To Work Order Tracking > Conduct an Inspection
Click on the icon that looks like a person, click My Profile
    Mike Wilson
    ELECT
    FIRSTCLASS
    Default Site: BEDFORD

    3. Now click on the Search Glass icon, on the right hand side
the Site dialog box is displayed, either filter or select a Site
from a different Org then EAGLENA.
Selected CHILEHDQ from the Org EAGLESA and clicked Close on the
    dialog box

    4. Click ?My Profile? again and to verify the new selection is
    in the default site box.
    Default Site: CHILEHQ

    5. Navigate back to the main Maximo application and open default
information. Notice how its updated to the new site: CHILEHQ

    6. Then Go To Work Order Tracking > Conduct an Inspection in
    Work
Center. Notice it results back to what it was before. It shows
Inspection forms that are on the Bedford/EagleNA, there is no
    Inspection forms displayed for Chilehq/EagleSA.

Go To My Profile and it shows the Default Site: CHILEHQ \

NOTE: If you perform the above steps for Manage Inspection the
results are the same, but for Steps 2 and 6 you will Go To
    Planning > Manage Inspections.

RESULTS: The default site change doesn?t apply until a full
    logout and login to Maximo.

EXPECTED RESULTS: Should take the new Default Site on the
Profile for both core and work center without having to log out
    and back in again.
