APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DESCRIPTION:
    
    Line Item cannot be deleted in a Revised Purchase order(with
    Status: PNDREV), if it is Entered in the Invoice and the Invoice
    status is Cancelled.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1) Go to Purchasing; Purchase Orders Application;
    (i) Create a new Purchase Order: TESTPO10; Vendor; Company: SKF
    (ii) Switch to PO Lines Tab; Click New Row; Line: 1; Line Type:
    Item; Select Item: 0-0031; Charge to Storeroom: CENTRAL;
    Conversion Factor: 1; Unit Cost: 10.00; Line Cost: 10.00;
    (iii) Save; Approve Purchase Order
    
    2) Go to Purchasing; Invoices Application;
    (i) Create a new Invoice: TSTINVC1; Company: SKF;
    (ii) Switch to Invoice Lines Tab; Copy PO Lines; Select Line1 of
    PO: TESTPO10; Click Ok.
    (iii) Save the Invoice; Change Status to Cancel; Click Ok
    
    3) Go to Purchasing; Purchase Orders Application; Navigate to
    the PO record: TESTPO10;
    (i) From More actions; Revise PO; Revision 1; Click Ok;
    (ii) Switch to PO Lines Tab; Try deleting Line 1;
    
    RESULT:
    An error is thrown as below:
    BMXAA0106E - Cannot delete Line 1 because it is referenced in
    the Invoice table.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    PO Line Item:1 should be allowed to delete.
    
    REPORTED IN VERSION: Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2
