Bad performance caused by Refresh Sheet recalculating the whole Excel workbook rather than the active one only

Troubleshooting


Problem

In Planning Analytics for Excel, the Refresh Sheet menu recalculates all the sheets in the workbook, rather than the active one only.
This leads to poor performance.

Resolving The Problem

An additional parameter is needed in order to make Planning Analytics for Excel behaving like Perspectives used to behave, when refreshing data.
The parameter is named r41_EnableConstrainedCalcScope and must be added to tm1features.json in this manner:
