APAR status

Error description

  • During a POST request process, a 100-continue response might
    return to a client so that the actual request data could be
    sent in. If the WebSphere Application Server is stopped during
    this 100-continue process, the subsequent request with actual
    POST data might result in a 503 response, and the request é ádat
    would be lost.

    During a POST request process, a 100-continue response might

Problem conclusion

  • The channel code is updated to detect if the server is stopping
    and returns a 503 response as early as possible.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    9.0.5.12 and 8.5.5.22.
