Problem
If you selected the Backup option when upgrading a Perspectives report with Action Buttons in IBM Planning Analytics for Excel, you might see the following error:
No Workbooks found. Please make sure you have permission to upgrade.
Cause
If you select the Backup option when you upgrade a Perspectives report that has Action Buttons, Planning Analytics for Excel tries to back up a source file that requires upgrades.
However, if the path to the source file is through multiple folders inside TM1 and if the combination of the folder structure and file name exceeds Windows' 248-character limit, the application might encounter folder path restrictions. As a result, the No Workbooks found error displays.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the error, upgrade the Perspectives report without selecting the Backup option.
