Error description

  • IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v15.0.3
    Unexpected behaviour with Compare With Local History.
    
    When select 'Compare with => Local History' and click 'OK'
    button on this compare view, current version will replace by the
    latest from 'Local history'.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Use of obsolete compare with local history mechanism can result
    in current member unexpectedly being replaced with older edit
    

Problem conclusion

  • The compare mechanism can is allowing for replace when just
    trying to do compare.  The current mechanism is deprecated so it
     will be updated to use the more current mechanism.
