IJ37118: REFRESH SCHEDULE REMOVES WORK LOG ICON FROM GRAPHICAL VIEW

APAR status

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    In Work Order Tracking, create a new WO.
    Add a new Work Log entry in the Log tab with type =
    CLIENTNOTE , set Viewable = checked and save.
    Save a query for this WO.
    Go to Graphical Scheduling and create a Schedule record and
    reference that saved Query.
    On the Graphical View tab, right-click on the WO and select
    ?Add/View Notes? from the menu.
    You can see the Work Log entry for the WO.
    But the Worklog column for this WO row in the Graphical
    Scheduling table is not checked. There is no red asterisk icon
    in the Calendar view on the right either.
    On the Graphical View tab, right-click on the WO and select
    ?Add/View Notes? from the menu.
    Add a new Note of type = APPTNOTE.
    On the WO row, scroll to the Worklog column: it is now
    checked. In the Calendar section, you can now also see a Work
    Log icon (speech bubble with lines) on the same row for the WO.
    Click on it: you can see the 2 Work Log entries.
    Click on ?Refresh Schedule? option.
    Look at the WO row: the Worklog column is not checked any
    more and the Work Log icon in the Calendar section has
    disappeared.
    Yet if you right-click on the 1st WO and select ?Add/View
    Notes? from the menu, the 2 Work Log entries are still there.
    
    
    RESULTS:
    
    The Work Log created outside of Graphical Scheduling is not
    recognised there and the ?Work Log? column is unchecked
    The Work Log icon disappears from the Gantt view in
    Graphical View when you do "Refresh Schedule?.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    
    The ?Work Log? column should be checked in Graphical
    Scheduling as long as at least one Work Log is created for that
    WO.
    The Work Log icon should not disappear from the Gantt view
    in Graphical View when you do "Refresh Schedule?.
