APAR status

Error description

  • Desription:
    Ticket to Ticket Status Inheritance does not work for synonyms
    that do not exist in originating status domain
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Login to Maximo
    
    2. Go to Domains --> INCIDENTSTATUS
    
    3. Add a synonym
    Internal Value: QUEUED
    Value: WOR
    Description: Waiting on Review
    
    4. Save the record
    
    5. Go to Service Requests (SR) and create a new SR (1266)
    
    6. More Actions --> Create --> Incident (1202)
    
    7. Go to Incidents (SP) --> 1202
    
    8. Change Status --> Waiting on Review
    
    9. The incident's status changes to QUEUED
    
    10. Go back to SR 1266
    
    RESULT:
    - The status of the SR remains at NEW
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    - The status of the SR should change to QUEUED
