Known Issues

  • Under some circumstances you might see an error when opening the IBM InfoSphere Information Server Console for the first time. This is not related to Service Pack 1. This problem can occur with certain .NET Framework versions and has been observed on other versions of IBM InfoSphere Information Server. It can be resolved by following the steps in this technote.
  • Use the 11.7.1.1 client to optimize jobs in IBM Information Server 11.7.1.3 SP1. This is also a known issue for 11.7.1.3. See this technote for more information.
  • Importing metadata from the Teradata and Oracle (PL/SQL) OpenIGC bridges encounters error 400. There is currently no solution for this problem. The affected bridges are:
    • Oracle Database SQL DML (DI/ETL) Script (PL/SQL)
    • Teradata Database SQL DML (DI/ETL) Script (BTEQ, Fastload, etc.)
  • In an IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.3 environment, installation of 11.7.1.3 Service pack 1 fails while the Update Installer is running prerequisite checks of the Microservices tier.  This can be resolved by following the steps in this technote.
