Troubleshooting
Problem
The user encounters an error message when publishing a workbook in Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE): "Publish Failed. Please make sure you have the correct permissions to publish"
The user had admin rights on TM1 server and the issue occurs whether the user is publishing the workbook as private or public.
Cause
The user tried to publish the workbook without selecting a folder.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue, complete step 4.
- On the IBM Planning Analytics tab, click Publish.
- Select a TM1 connection.
- Select a TM1 Server Application folder.
- Select a folder or create a new folder.
- Type a name for the workbook. Optional: Enter a description.
- Click Publish.
