APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When enabling legacy_endpoint_behavior
(v5_endpoint_substitution_behavior) for a catalog/space there is
a difference in the API routing prefixes depending on the vanity
hostname configured:
- If the vanity hostname of the endpoint matches the existing
hostname of in the gateway URL, APIs can no longer be invoked
with /provider_organization/catalog/ in the URL
- If the vanity hostname of the endpoint DOES NOT match the
existing hostname of in the gateway URL, APIs can still be
invoked with /provider_organization/catalog/ in the URL

Problem summary


    

  • If vanity hostname is the same with the gateway hostname,
orgname and catalog cannot be configured.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fix is available in 10.0.1.6 and 10.0.4.0.
