IJ36247: INSPECTION FORM ISSUE WITH METER READING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• It is not possible to complete an inspection if a meter reading
  is entered and removed (later), thus attempting to complete the
  inspection without a (not mandatory) reading taken.
  
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  
  1. Go to Manage Inspection Forms and create a new form:
  Name: METER FORM
  Select Form Type: Inspectin
  Add Question
  
  Question: Meter Reading Test
  Response Field column > Asset Date > Meter Readings
  
  Description: Meter Readings
  Meter: HEAD LOSS2
  
  Visible and NO Required
  
  Done, Save and Active it
  
  2. Go to Work Order Tracking Application and create a new work
  order
  Asset: TRACK 1
  Inspection Forms: The inspection created above
  Save
  
  Thee Inspection Result field will be filled > Detail Menu > Go
  to Conduct an Inspection
  
  3. In the Conduct an Inspection, start the inspection, choose
  any value in the Meter Readings
  Click on Save and exit
  The Conduct an Inspection screen will close.
  
  4. Again in the Work Order Tracking application, in the
  Inspection Result field > Detail Menu > Go to Conduct an
  Insepction
  
  5. In the Conduct an Inspection, start the inspection, uncheck
  the value that was chosen in step 3
  Click on Complete
  
  Expected Result: The inspection should be completed as the
  response is not mandatory. .
  
  Result: Got the following error message:
  
  "BMXAA2880E - New reading, new reading date and new reading
  inspector values are required to enter a new reading. "
  
  
  Version of Maximo: 7612 - Work Center 7604
