Troubleshooting
Problem
The following problems might occur occasionally in IBM Cloud Pak System Version 2.3.3.0 due to the wdmd.service process:
- PSM services go offline
- PSM reboot or failover
Symptom
User is not able to access the PSM user interface on IBM Cloud Pak System.
Resolving The Problem
Engage IBM Support proactively to assist you with applying the following fixes on IBM Cloud Pak System from the PSM command line to disable wdmd.service.
- systemctl disable wdmd.service
- systemctl stop wdmd.service
- systemctl mask wdmd.service
Note: You can also upgrade to IBM Cloud Pak System 2.3.3.3 or higher to resolve this problem.
